Sofi(tel)'s World

When the ex-BF (now Hubby) and I first started dating, we once caught ourselves passing by Hotel Sofitel Philippine Plaza Manila while strolling at the CCP.  While admiring this very impressive structure, Hubby, always the architect and with a glazed look in his eyes, said; "we'll stay there one day."

And ever true to his word, we did...  ☺

When the words "Hotel Sofitel" are uttered (in exactly this order), what comes to the minds of most Filipinos (foodies in particular) is Spirals, that oh-so-delicious restaurant of theirs with a buffet that leaves many a man teary-eyed with remembered fondness of gastronomical sessions.

But, in my opinion, that's not only thing that Hotel Sofitel has to offer.

1. The ambiance itself, not only connotes luxury, but also ultimate service and comfort.  With comfy rooms and the best amenities, you'll surely find yourself in a most relaxed state of being.

Oh!  It also makes for perfect wedding photos ops as well.  ☺

2. The people.  I've said it once, and I'll say it again.  What makes any hotel truly special is not the number of stars associated in their name.  It's the quality of service and friendly staff that greet you from the moment you enter their driveways to your check-out goodbyes.

Hotel Sofitel will forever remain a part of our family's lives.  And we couldn't have wanted it any other way.  ☺
