The Average Jane Goes to the Global Pinoy Bazaar 2011

I've always been fascinated with unique finds.  Who wouldn't, anyway?  It's fresh.  It's new.  It's something you just don't see everyday.

One eventually gets tired of shopping at malls where the same items are seen and can be purchased day-in and day-out.  The only thing going for them is price.  Don't get me wrong, though.  I love going to SM.  Landmark and Market! Market! are also places I must visit from time to time.

But what truly keeps my creative juices going and my excitement boiling are trips to tiangges that feature unusual, one-of-a-kind creations.  Thankfully, Yabang Pinoy's Global Pinoy Bazaar is one of them!

Pinoy power!

Waking up early on a gray Saturday, the family and I happily trooped to the Rockwell tent for one grand shopping experience.

Shopping bliss...

And since we were such early birds, we were able to scout through a lot of the offerings and made some very interesting purchases.  Woohooo!!!  J

My GPB '11 loot

Out of the 15 people I still had to give Christmas gifts to, I was able to cross out only 2, since shamefully, a lot (all right, almost ALL!  Hehehe!) of the stuff I bought will be used by little old me.  Shameful, yes, but dang it!  I deserve to reward myself from time-to-time.  J

Congratulations again, Yabang Pinoy for another successful event!  Can't wait for next year's!

Stay tuned for my future posts where I will be showing you in detail the items I absolutely adored at the bazaar.  Makes for very good gift ideas.  J

  3. Hello Tin!!!

Thank you for supporting the Global Pinoy Bazaar.
Totally agree with you that there are really good finds in bazaars specially with this one since featured products were made with 100% Pinoy love and pride.

Too bad I missed to show you and Tyler around last Saturday morning. But then again, going in the morning was an excellent choice since you can still move comfortably in your own pace. :)Hope you enjoy your treasures.

Until the next Global Pinoy Bazaar!

Ipagpatuloy ang pagtangkilik sa konsepto, produkto, at serbisyong Pinoy! Yeebaahh!
