Kenny Roger's Roasters is a staple in almost all major shopping malls here in the Metro.  With their usual servings of roasted meats plus mouth-watering sides served in a fast food format, you can bet their stores are always filled to maximum capacity during lunch and dinner services.

But bet you haven't heard of a new concept they have in place at Power Plant Mall?

While the family was strolling along Rockwell center, we came across Kenny's Roast & Grill, a more upscale version of Kenny Roger's Roasters.  Being the curious cats that we were, the family decided to have lunch here.

I've been a huge fan of Amy Tan ever since reading a copy of her Joy Luck Club.  I then proceeded to collect all her other books and have been a loyal follower since.

And like all other photograghers, I too have been bitten by the bug -- the security bug that is -- in the quest to protect my new baby from the harsh elements.  But mind you, I didn't want just any ordinary boring black camera bag (I swear this is such a musculine world we live in).  I wanted pizzazz!  I wanted color!  And I wanted one with a zipper!

Many a weekend found me in various malls searching for a bag that would fit my needs and preferences.  I never could find one that caught my eye until I came across this!

Breakfast Fare at Floating Island Restaurant

Being a true blue Pinoy, I've always had a fondness for anything "insert possible viand here"-silog.  And I am definitely not alone in this sentiment.  Breakfast simply isn't complete without it.

I used to forgo breakfast a lot when I was still working, usually opting for a large steaming mug of joe at the office to perk me up before that start of another hectic day.  I know it's a bad habit but I was living alone that time and well, eating solo at the dining room table didn't sound too appealing to me.

So any chance I had to grab a bite with my mom during a regular workday is a definite treat.  And one such workday did find us in Makati Medical Center (MMC) early morning catching a bite to eat before heading to my medical appointment.

Good thing though, as we have discovered Floating Island Restaurant, located at the new annex wing of MMC.

Forever 21 Makati to Open on April 8, 2011 (UPDATE!!!)

Forever 21 is opening its Makati store on April 8, 2011!  And if this isn't enough to keep you hopping off your seats, they're giving away Php500 F21 coupons to the first 250 people in line for the opening.

I am writing additional information regarding the Forever 21 Php500 coupon to be given away to the the first 250 people to line up their Makati store on April 8.  Info was obtained from their FB shoutout last April 6, 2011.
