Fab Find: Daiso's Liquid Label Remover

Aahhh... Daiso.  My wonderful wasteland of every thing.  Period.  You go in and come out with something you've never imagined you needed!  Amazing!

One of the best things about living here in Singapore is that Daiso stores are humongous, offering a lot more merchandise than what you can normally see in any of their branches in the Philippines.
My newest find?  Their Liquid Label Remover!

Daiso's Liquid Label Remover

Why am I hooked?

Imagine this... An empty bottle of pasta sauce, with a paper label.

With this, you now have a container you can use in a variety of ways.  But no; it's not as easy as you think.  If you're like me, you'll remove the label first before reusing the bottle.

And so you set off to accomplish this herculean task, gently peeling off the paper label bit by bit.  Hoping and praying not a piece stays and you'll be left with an immaculately clean, streak and paper-free, bottle.

But nooooo... Fate has other plans for you.  And regardless of how gentle you've been in peeling, a tiny bit of the paper label and glue decides to be all stubborn- like and refuse to relinquish their hold on the bottle.  And no matter how much elbow grease you use, it's still there!

So what's a girl to do?!

Never fear!  Daiso's Liquid Label Remover is here!

1. Place a generous amount on the offending stuck paper/glue residue.  Leave on for a few minutes.

Dab it in real good

2. Use the accompanying scrapper to remove the stuck pieces/parts.

Scrape it off!

3. Repeat as necessary for really stubborn parts.

Et viola!  You are left with a clean, label-free bottle!

Clean!

Before and after pictures

Amazing!  And it works on tin cans, books (those with glossy covers) and so much more!  Precaution: Always test out a small portion on your item first before using.

And the best part?  It's only S$2.00 (Php66.00*)!  Truly an amazing product.  :)

*S$1.00 = Php33
