And while we are all trying to adjust to this new chapter in our lives, we move on and take each challenge one step, one day at a time.
In preparation to the move to the Lion City, I we gave up stuff. Clothes, bags, shoes, and gadgets (among others) given to relatives who might have use for them. The others (pictures, letters, etc.), either sorted in small albums left in the 'rent's home in Cavite or, unfortunately, thrown out.
I know, sad story, but it had to be done. We could not be lugging anything extra with us everytime we move house.
I may not have the physical photos now; but the memories are still with me. And I don't mean just in my mind, ok.
I used my MagicScan to scan and keep copies. I swear, it's one of the best gadgets the Husband ever gave me (Thank you, Dada!)
Scanning... |
All I do is run the scanner over documents I want to scan and viola! It's converted to JPEG file. Amazing!
Amazing! |
Now all my photos are digitized and kept in my hard drive for safekeeping.
There is a hiccup, though, mainly is that you have to use steady movements/motions when scanning to capture a good image. It's not too bad as it gets better with practice.
Love it!
P.S. My MagicScan was bought in Challenger in Singapore. I'm not sure if it is now available in the Philippines.
Okay, so you're back in Singapore. I keep figuring out where you are hehehe. This is just a cool gadget. By any chance, is there something like that here in Manila?? Been meaning to scan old photos too! Especially from my childhood days.
ReplyDeleteWow, nice naman ng scanner mo. Good luck in your new career and journey.
