Get your Sushi Fix in Singapore at UmiSushi

I am a huge lover of Japanese cuisine.  It's the burst of flavor amidst the simplicity that just gets to me.  And thank heavens for umisushi, where I can get my fix of Japanese food, at very budget-friendly prices, here in Singapore.

umisushi

Different types of sushi and sashimi are their speciality, and with such a wide variety to choose from to suit your every craving.

So many choices, so little time...

You can choose smaller plates with purely the specific type of sushi or sashimi that you feel like indulging in.  But for those who prefer to have a little bit of everything, then umisushi's mini platters are the way to go.  Prices range from S$5.10 (Php160*) for a makimono or vegetarian plate to S$9.40 (Php310*) for an all salmon or all nagiri spread.

Makimono (S$5.10 or Php)

Aside from sushi and sashimi, they also offer udons (noodle dishes), Japanese salads, and of course, bento boxes.

Tori Teriyaki (grilled chicken) for S$5.80 or Php190*

Sake Teriyaki (grilled salmon) for S$6.60 or Php217*

The best thing about these bento boxes is that they come with a serving of sweet Japanese mashed potatoes.  I knew there was such a thing but I hadn't had the pleasure of trying one out till I tasted it from umisushi's bento.  So good and compliments their bento dishes perfectly!

I am in Japanese cuisine heaven...  J
