Eat that Red Kimono!

Like most people, I, too love Japanese cuisine.  It's something I crave constantly and have to meet at least once a month.  So it's a good thing that, here in the Philippines, there are tons of affordable Japanese eateries available, both fast food and fine dining establishments clearly represented.

We're tried a lot of places here specializing in Japanese fare; but thus far, my favorite would be Red Kimono.

Red Kimono, Glorietta 2, Makati

We usually have their Chicken Teriyaki Classic Bento Box (Php198).  The chicken strips are juicy and tender, and the sauce?  Truly amazing!  A good blend of sweet and slightly salty flavors.

Served with rice and stir-fry veggies for a complete meal.

Then there's their Sukiyaki (Php180).  A soup dish with beef, noodles, various veggies, and tofu all simmering in a sweet and tasty broth.

Make sure to eat it hot as its not as good when it gets cold.

Yup... definitely eating there again.  J
