Another fad I've noticed here in Singapore is the rise in popularity of Korean snacks. Sure entertainment, cosmetics, and fashion have been prevalent here even before; but nowadays, I find that their snacks have also created quite a huge following, with most major department stores carrying all types of Korean goodies.
The more recent one I've bought are these Hai Tai Honey Tong Tong potato chips.
Thick potato chip pieces covered in a sweet and slightly salty powder. I wouldn't say it is addictive; but it has quite an interesting flavor.
A bag costs S$2.60 (Php91.00) and is good enough for 2 to share.
