Potong (Cut) Wafer Ice Cream: The Singapore Dirty (Relatively) Street Frozen Delight

We have dirty ice cream in the Philippines; but here in Singapore, potong (cut) is the way to go.

Potong wafer ice cream bar

Usually selling at S$1 (Php33*) a piece, this simple, sweet dessert consists of a cut (hence the name) ice cream bar (comes in a variety of flavors), sandwiched in between 2 thin wafer biscuits.

Vendors offering these type of treat abound here in Singapore.  In fact, the stretch of Orchard road usually has a number of them peddling their fares to both locals and tourists alike, enticing them with their cold offerings to help beat the hot tropical weather.

If you're visiting the Lion City, I strongly suggest you experience this at least once during your stay here.
