A Singaporean Starbucks® Christmas

There's just no escaping Starbucks® even here in Singapore.  Not that I'm complaining, most especially since it's time once again for them to be offering their special annual Christmas beverages to the public.  Yey!

Starbucks® Christmas beverages

A yearly favorite of ours is their Toffee Nut Frappuccino (S$6.20/Php205* for a tall serving).  Espresso with milk blended in with creamy toffee and nuts.  Sounds sinful, right?  But it tastes so heavenly.

A new must-try for us is the Cranberry White Chocolate Mocha Frappuccino (S$6.80/Php225* for a tall order)Espresso coffee with milk and white chocolate topped with whipped cream, cranberry syrup and sugar.  I was actually surprised that I liked this.  The cranberry had me a little bit skeptical but it's not as bad as I thought it would be.  It's actually pretty good.

And since the Little One isn't allowed any caffeinated drinks yet, she's just as content with having an order of their Belgian Waffles (S$3.60/Php119*).  A piece comes with a pat of butter and strawberry jam.

Simply decadent...

P.S.  You might be interested to know that they don't offer the Starbucks® planners here like in the Philippines.  Same with the other coffee shops.  Wonder if it's just a yearly thing in our neck of the woods.

Calling all overseas friends, is this same in your current locations?  J

  1. I love the Toffee Nut Coffee!!! :) I guess Philippine franchises want to boost the sales hence the planner mania. Anyway, it works. :P

  2. Merry Christmas! :)

Maybe they're not to keen on the thought of collecting stamps then getting a planner. We go gaga over that yearly :)

  3. I'm not a Starbucks-y kind of girl, because I always want to go against the grain. I don't want to go where the majority go :). Then again, that's just me. But I must admit, I do occasionally get sucked in by all the commercialism, and have a tall mocha frap or two. And those waffles... I remember loving those back in the day. Ok, maybe I'm a Starbucks fan after all :)

  4. I like the sandwiches and pastries offered by Starbucks. Not much of a coffee drinker of these shops since I prefer mixing my own. =)
