The Little One at Candylicious and Hershey's Store, Singapore

A great way of ending (or starting) your Universal Studios Singapore adventure is by getting your fill of candies and chocolates at two of the well-known sweets shops located here in Resort World Sentosa -- candylicious and Hersey's Singapore store (Hey!  You've experience the thrill and the adrenaline rush from the rides.  Now's the chance to gorge yourself with energy from the saccharine-induced kind.)

Uhmmm.. dada... Who's the big red dude beside me?

candylicious

candylicous is a concept sweets store that aims to elevate the simple, everyday candy shop into a world-class destination.  It fuses the joy of sweets and active imagination by use of wonderful smells and bright, colorful designs; all meant to bring out the kid in all of us.

candylicious operates a branch located just in front of Universal Studios Singapore.  Housing over 5,000 types of candies and chocolates, it is considered Asia's largest candy store to date.  And with a large "Pick and Mix" wall, there's surely a type of candy that will suit all individual tastes.

I can go on and on about this store.  But, in my opinion, pictures speak so much louder than words when posting about a topic as delicious as this.  So I'll shut up now (for the time being, anyway) and let the photos speak for themselves.

Amatller chocolates, one of the most famous chocolate brands in the world
(personally, I was immediately drawn to their packaging.  So old world!)

Jelly Bellys sorted by color

Various artisan chocolates from around the world
(Hmmm...maybe Theo & Philo should be here too?)

Mints

There are also sweets catered to adults only.

There's also an Il Gelato di Bruno branch inside.

Admittedly, out of all the candies in the store, what really got me so excited was this...

An m&m's candy dispenser

An m&m's candy dispenser with candies sorted by color!!!

A rainbow of colors

I know it's so unusual to get so hyped up by something as ordinary as this but you see, I love m&m's, colorful items, and orderliness.  And although I adore color mixes, my OCD senses also rejoices when colors are matched and placed in a neat pile.  Yes, I am obsessively compulsive that way.

When purchasing from candy dispensers here at candylicious, you buy a separate container from them first then fill it up with sweets.  Bill is computed based on the total weight.

Aside from sweet food and drinks, candylicious also offers select merchandise as well.

m&m's stuffed toys

This is the craziest thing I've seen inside the store -- a Bling jeweled lollipop holder.  It is used exactly as the name implies.

Wonder if there's really a demand for such a ridiculous thing?

Hershey's Singapore Store

And if your candylicious haul still isn't enough, then head on down to the Hershey's Singapore store.

Hershey's Singapore

As the name implies, you get, what else?  An overload of chocolates and candies made by Hershey's!

Reese's and Kisses and Twix, oh my!

With over 200 of their products on display, I'm sure you'll leave never wanting for more.

Aside from their usual sweet offerings, the store also sells some pretty cool merchandise and memorabilia.

Fancy brining home 1 or 2 of these?
(not edible, folks.  These are just pillows)

Blue Hershey's teddy bears

You Scream... I Scream... We all Scream for... uhmmm... Chocolate!

I don't know about you but I swear I gained pounds just by looking and whiffing the air in these stores!  So before I end this sinful post of mine, I have just but one message to leave...

My thoughts exactly!
