The White Hat is a very popular yogurt brand name in the Philippines. I must admit, it was in a White Hat stall that I had my first experience of soft-serve yogurt with toppings simply being "topped" on the product, instead of it being mixed in with the yogurt.
One of the things I miss the most about the Philippines is the constant ringing and shouts of vendors calling out their wares to the public. One of my all time favorites is the sorbetesor "dirty ice cream"
I have better explain myself right now. I am no longer based in the Philippines.
In the hopes of wanting a good start in my married life, I packed up and left Manila (oh how I miss you so!!!) to be with the Hubby in Singapore. And although I am still adjusting, I very much will still continue to write about items that make life interesting, whether in the Philippines or here in Singapore. Who knows what the future has in store for me...

What is a woman? What is the essence of being a woman?
In the bible, a woman is seen as a person formed from the rib of Adam.
The Merriam-Webster dictionary defines woman as an adult female person.
In my dad's perception, I am the apple of his eye.
To my mom, her favorite (and did I mention, ONLY) daughter.
To my younger brother, the annoying "ate" who, almost similar to the energizer bunny, just keeps on going and going (nagging that is).
My nephew sees me as that cute playmate he gets to see only a few days in a year.
Hubby as his life-time companion.
My boss as a most, ehem, reliable staff.
To my friends, a listening ear.
I've always believed that there were only 3 types of people in a high school hierarchy. We have the "cool" ones which include the jocks, the cheerleaders, the org leaders, etc. Then there are the "nerds", the uber-smart ones who clearly had the the makings of becoming the next Bill Gates but are sadly lacking in the necessary social graces. And finally, the "neutrals", of which are composed of the shy types who breezed through high school without even setting their mark.
Every girl has gone through with it. Its a never ending cycle of torture. What exactly do I mean? Its the dreaded D-I-E-T. There's a reason why D-I-E are the first 3 letters of this dreaded word because seriously folks, I dare you to show me a person who enjoys dieting!
I've noticed that in the course of trying to live my life, I have invited over a few unwanted friends. Yes folks! The extra poundage has arrived! And although I do not consider myself thin, I was already at a stage where I was comfortable enough with my body. However, living and facing life's daily struggles takes its toll on you and we naturally turn to food for comfort.
Living in today's modern world sure has a lot of advantages. Globalization is a fast-growing trend due to technological advances in business. We get things done fast and want things faster. But have we ever slowed down and taken stock of what is truly important in life?
THE SPLURGE: Rimowa's Salsa luggage (around Php12,+++)
Well-know luggage manufacturer, Rimowa, released one of its most well-sought out designs, the Salsa. This little beauty is being sold in Manila for a mere Php12,+++. Truly an investment-worthy purchase for the jetsetter in everyone.
NOTE: I apologize for having been incognito for so long. There have been too many things going on in my life right now that blogging just seems to have taken a backseat (as in waaayyy at back) to life's surmounting challenges. Nevertheless, I hope to have the drive to continue blogging regularly again just to get me back on tract. =)
This has been a long time coming... For people who do not know this, yes, there is a Guess Outletstorelocated in Harrison Plaza, Manila. Located just across Shopwise near the F.B. Harrison St. entrance, the Guess outlet store carries a number of men, women and children's items.
Here are just a few of the fabulous finds one might see...
Yeah, yeah, I know it's a little late to be writing this but I've actually been avoiding posting this entry for a number of reasons. First of which was due to the good image (pardon the pun) of Great Image (GI) Photography. I wanted them to prove their worth before posting my reactions.
However, in light of recent events (of which I will painstakingly divulge in this entry), GI has given me no other choice but to express my extreme disatisfaction over the service I have been receiving from them in the hopes that other couples might learn a thing or two from our experiences.
